OCZ Platinum Series

The OCZ Platinum Series is a mid-priced line of DDR2 desktop memory modules. There are four different models in this product line, the difference between each model being primarily a matter of voltage and MHz ratings.

All the models in the Platinum series come equipped with 2.2V Enhanced Voltage Protection (EVP), which protects against performance-hindering power surges and excess current. As with many of OCZ's desktop memory offerings, the Platinum series has a feature built in, the Platinum-mirrored XTC Heatspreader, that protects against excess heat produced by pronlonged use. Every model in the OCZ Platinum series is a 240 Pin Dual In-Line Memory Module (DIMM), with a 64-bit data path. Desktop users with high-bandwidth needs will be interested in the Platinum Series.
