The Pros:Near silent. 5 year warranty. Manufactured by Seasonic.
The Cons:Not modular. Potential cooling issues. Interestingly does not include a 6+2 pin PCI-E power cable whereas the cheaper CX400W does.
Corsair's cheapest PSU the VX450W was introduced as part of a new budget line in early 2007. Utilizing a single 12v rail the power supply is also their lowest wattage unit at 450W. It is nothing to scoff at however, with 33A on the 12V rail the VX450W can power any single video card gaming rig without issue, and is near silent up to 250W throughput.
