Functionally they are very similar, including the use of a 140mm double ball-bearing fan that is designed to run quietly and a Universal AC input that switches on the fly from 90 to 264 volt input compatibility without the need for a manual switch. In addition to providing 750 watts of power to the PC through standard connections a +12 volt rail is available for higher-end video cards. The unit runs at over 80% efficiency at 20%, 50% and 100% load conditions, which generates less heat and a lower energy bill. A number of protections against current, voltage and power surges protect internal components, and the 99% Active Power Factor Correction keeps the supplied power even and reliable.
