Corsair HX450W
Released November, 2008
The Pros:All the power that is required by the majority of people. Can power any single carded gaming machine with ease. Modular cables.
The Cons:Will probably get louder faster than the 520/620 models (but with peoples loud video card, cpu and case fans this probably isn't a problem for the majority). Very little different than the value series (only modular cables and multiple 12V rails).
Announced on November 6th 2008, the Corsair HX450W is a low wattage luxury power supply from Corsair. Replacing the HX520W as the weakest in the professional HX series, the HX450W brings modular cabling, 85%+ efficiency, and an ever increasing warranty - which now stands at 7 years - to the masses of PC enthusiasts who do not require the wattage provided by more expensive models.
