The Cons:Not actually a 500W power supply, actually delivers only 360W of power. Shorter 2-year warranty. Not 80+ certified - only about 70% efficient.

The eXtreme Power Plus 500W power supply, made by Cooler Master, is ATX12V V2.3 compliant, in keeping with new standard power requirements.  It provides over 70% efficiency at typical load operation, and meets both Energy Star and Blue Angel basic requirements as well.

Product Shot 2  Additionally, for higher power usage needs, this unit supports dual +12V1 and +12V2 outputs.  The Mean Time Between Failures, (MTBF) is rated at more than 100,000 hours, offering a longer overall life for the unit, and with a 120mm cooling fan noise is at a minimum.  Finally, this unit comes equipped with a variety of connectors, with flexibility for future upgrades.  The connectors include one standard floppy, five peripheral, one PCI-e 6 Pin, four 5 Pin to SATA, one Motherboard 20+4 Pin suitable for both newer and older models, and one CPU 4+4 Pin connector.
